A piece of music with two movements was composed on cello - Adagio, a soft and smooth melody; Allegro, a fast and harsh melody. A sharp needle was attached at the tip of the cello bow while the piece was being played. The movement of the bow made scratches on a film. Then, the film was exposed onto a plate and printed.
